Bio

Kenza Tazi is a Moroccan cinematographer and director. After studying in Paris and Berlin, she graduated as a director of photography. In 2024, she received production support from the CCM for her first short film, Milk Brothers.
The film went on to receive numerous awards and nominations at international festivals such as Brussels Short, Flickerfest ISFF, and Kino Forum São Paulo.
In 2025, she received funding from the Fonds Image de la Francophonie (OIF) for her second short film, BARZAKH, which was also selected at the Atlas Station of the International Festival of Marrakech. She also began writing her first feature film, Laissées-pour-compte, which was selected for La Fabrique Cinéma 2026, at the Festival de Cannes, won the First Pitch Prize at the Tetouan Workshops and obtained the development fund from the Moroccan Cinema Center.
